Services
One-Visit Ceramic Crown (Cerec)
A crown can be used to cover the damaged part of your tooth and protect it from further damage. It may be necessary in the following cases:
- after a root canal;
- a large filling in a tooth;
- a broken tooth;
- a discolored, misshapen, or misaligned tooth.
Cerec technology allows for an optical impression of your broken or weakened tooth to be taken and modeled using a computer. A milling chamber then shapes the new crown, and a furnace fires it to give it exceptional strength. It is then bonded to the tooth, all in a single visit.
Please refer to the following website to see the results possible with this technology.

Teeth Whitening
In most cases, the natural color of teeth ranges from grayish to yellow. Teeth naturally darken with age, and the use of tobacco products, as well as the consumption of certain foods or drinks, can affect their appearance by causing stains on their surface. Several options are available, and it is essential to consult a dentist to consider your overall dental health before recommending any treatments.
Major Surgeries (Implantology)
There are several solutions for replacing one or more missing teeth. One of them involves using dental implants instead of bridges, partial dentures, or complete dentures. Comfortable and natural-looking, implants serve to replace missing roots and hold the artificial replacement teeth in place.

Minor Surgeries (e.g., Wisdom Teeth)
Wisdom teeth, also called third molars, are the last teeth to develop. They vary greatly in shape and size from person to person. They are located at the very back of the mouth, behind the second molars.
Reasons for Wisdom Tooth Extraction
In orthodontic treatment where there is insufficient space on the dental arch, it is recommended to extract wisdom teeth to allow for proper alignment of the other teeth.
Partially impacted teeth are difficult to access and therefore, impossible to clean properly. Remaining bacteria and food debris can cause several problems, including cavities.
Impacted teeth increase the chances of developing a cyst or a benign tumor.
Impacted and partially impacted teeth can cause localized diseases of the gums and the bone surrounding these teeth.
Pericoronitis (inflammation of the tissues surrounding the crown of the tooth) and cellulitis (an infection of the soft tissues of the face) are possible complications of impacted or partially impacted wisdom teeth.
In some people, wisdom teeth cause pain.
The eruption of wisdom teeth is one factor that can contribute to the movement of front teeth, although it is not the primary cause.
Gum Treatment (Periodontics)
Periodontics is the specialty dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases affecting the gums and the surrounding bone. Periodontal diseases are often the most common cause of tooth loss in adults. Periodontal disease can remain completely painless for a long time, but certain warning signs can sometimes indicate the onset of a chronic gum infection in an adult:
- change in gum color
- bleeding gums when brushing or flossing
- chronic bad breath
- Redness of the gums at the base of the teeth
- a feeling of pressure between the teeth after meals
- purple, red, or painful gums

Endodontics (Root Canal Treatment)
When the nerve of your tooth is infected, a successful root canal treatment allows you to save your tooth rather than having it extracted. By preserving your natural tooth, you prevent other teeth from shifting and causing jaw problems. You also avoid having to replace it with an artificial tooth.
Cosmetic Dentistry
Dental treatments like veneers are not only used to treat cavities or repair broken teeth, but also to enhance the appearance of healthy teeth. Veneers completely cover the front surface of the tooth and improve its appearance by changing the color, shape, angle, or spacing. We can repair broken, chipped, cracked, gapped, or yellowed teeth. Cosmetic dental restoration can enhance your smile and give you more confidence.

Fixed Orthodontics and Invisible Orthodontics "Invisalign"
Orthodontic treatment can benefit you at any age. Misaligned, overlapping, or protruding teeth affect their appearance and function. Orthodontic treatment not only enhances your smile but also promotes better health, as aligned teeth are easier to brush and therefore less prone to cavities and injuries. If you are unhappy with the appearance or function of your teeth, orthodontic treatment may be the solution.
Orthodontic treatment is not just for teenagers, as the position of teeth can be corrected at any age. In fact, more and more adults are turning to orthodontics to improve the appearance and health of their smiles. Dr. Laurent Richard can assess whether orthodontic treatment would be right for you. In some cases, it is best to begin orthodontic treatment before all permanent (adult) teeth have erupted. A consultation can take place from the age of 7.
