Implantology
We offer a complete implantology service to replace missing teeth, to preserve jaw health, and restore a full smile.
Dental Implant Placement
What is a dental implant?
The dental implant was developed to replace a missing tooth. The idea is to insert, through a delicate and comfortable surgical procedure, something that closely resembles a human tooth root. Furthermore, it must be strong and biocompatible to prevent rejection.
More than 50 years ago, the root-shaped dental implant was invented. It is a small titanium or zirconium post that is inserted into the jawbone where the missing tooth was located. Once the treatment is complete, the dental implant and its crown function like a natural tooth. You’ll forget you even have an implant, it’s so comfortable!
The entire process of obtaining one or more implants can take from 4 to 18 months. If a bone graft is necessary to strengthen the bone that will support your implant, the treatment will take longer.

Wisdom Tooth Extraction
We offer a safe and professional wisdom tooth extraction service, with a gentle, reassuring approach tailored to each patient.
Problem
Wisdom teeth very often grow in the wrong direction. If they are not removed, they can lead to infection and a lot of pain!
Solution
We recommend wisdom tooth extraction towards the end of adolescence, as their roots are not yet fully formed. This makes the procedure easier and less painful for the patient.

Examination and Cleaning
Regular checkups and cleanings at the dentist are essential for preventing cavities and plaque buildup, as well as detecting certain oral diseases.
Prevention
Dental Cleaning
In addition to daily home care, your teeth and gums need a thorough cleaning every six months by a dental hygienist. Regular checkups will help detect any issues before they develop into serious problems.
A thorough cleaning, X-rays, and an examination by your dentist are three key elements that contribute significantly to maintaining good oral health.
Your overall health can often be affected by your dental health. Therefore, it is very important to take good care of it!
X-Rays
X-Rays are necessary to detect various problems of the teeth and jaw that are not visible to the naked eye.
Targeted X-Rays should be taken annually, and a panoramic X-Ray once every five years.
Cavities between teeth, cracks, root infections, jaw problems, and many other conditions can be diagnosed through X-Rays and a dental examination.
Fluoride
Purpose:
To prevent cavities and reduce tooth sensitivity.
Procedures:
- Dental varnish application
- As a mouthwash (X-Pur, Opti-Rince, etc.)
- MIpaste (at-home cream)
- Colgate Prevident 5000 (toothpaste)
Fluoride is to teeth what sunscreen is to skin, but unlike sunscreen, it works over the long term and becomes more effective with repeated use. Regular fluoride application can reduce your chances of developing cavities by 70%.
Should we be worried about fluoride?
When applied only to teeth, absolutely not!
In fact, the World Health Organization (WHO), the Canadian Dental Association, Health Canada, and 100 other international organizations recommend its use.
Sealants
Problem:
Molars and premolars have small grooves and fissures on their surface called pits and fissures. These areas accumulate food debris, allowing bacteria to attack the tooth and cause cavities.
Objective:
The sealant fills these small, impossible-to-clean grooves and eliminates these "traps" by sealing them tightly, allowing the toothbrush to effectively clean the entire surface of the tooth.

Crowns and bridges
Dental crowns and bridges are fixed prosthetic devices that restore or replace one or several teeth that have been permanently damaged.
Dental emergencies

This could be a broken tooth, an infection, severe pain, or even a lost filling. Our team is here to see you quickly and restore your comfort.

Removable protheses
Removable prostheses are appliances that replace natural teeth. Designed for the upper or lower jaw, these appliances are easily removed from the mouth for daily cleaning.
Veneers
Veneers are a highly natural-looking dental restoration option. They are attached to the front part of teeth and cannot be removed. They can change the shape and colour of teeth as well as mask defects. Veneers are made of very fine tooth-coloured porcelain.
Whitening
Teeth whitening is a popular cosmetic dentistry procedure. Over the past 10 years, whitening techniques have greatly improved. Accessible, non-invasive, and simple, ZOOM ADVANCE is the ultimate in whitening techniques available on the market.
Periodontics
Periodontitis
Periodontitis is an infection of the gums that results in the loss of bone and support around the teeth. Like gingivitis, periodontitis is caused by the accumulation of bacteria on the tooth, under the gum line. In addition to redness and bleeding, periodontitis is characterized by the formation of a space between the gum and the tooth called a periodontal pocket. The pocket is the result of bone loss around the tooth. These spaces are difficult to clean and, therefore, favour the progression of the disease. Without treatment, periodontitis can cause the loss of the affected tooth.
Orthodontics
Orthodontics for adults
For adults as well, several treatments can be proposed to discreetly align teeth. Our possible treatments are: multidisciplinary & limited treatment, treatment in anticipation of tooth replacement, jaw relationship problem and jaw pain.
Orthodontics for children
Our orthodontists provide a number of treatments for children. The most common problems encountered include: upper jaw too narrow, upper jaw too far back in relation to the lower jaw, anterior crossbite, upper teeth or jaw too far forward in relation to the lower teeth or jaw, bad habits, early loss of baby teeth, poor eruption pattern of adult teeth, and impacted teeth.
Orthodontics for teens
For teenagers, orthodontics is not limited to aligning teeth and correcting smiles. Orthodontic treatment may also be needed to address problems affecting chewing, pronunciation of certain sounds and gum health. Here are some examples of common situations that may benefit from orthodontic correction: minor/moderate crowding, severe crowding, gaps between teeth, anterior gap, closed bite, upper teeth too far forward in relation to lower teeth (non-extraction treatment, distalization, extraction treatment), upper teeth too far back in relation to lower teeth, jaw too narrow, impacted tooth, missing lateral incisor (closing of tooth, closing of gap), narrow lateral incisor.
Maxillofacial
Wisdom teeth
Third molars or wisdom teeth are so named because they are usually the last teeth of the adult dentition to erupt, usually between the ages of 15 to 25. When there is insufficient space or the angle of eruption is unfavorable, the tooth may remain impacted or only partially erupt through the gingiva. These teeth, if not removed, may cause problems such as infections, pain, damage to adjacent teeth, and cysts in the jawbones. At the consultation, your oral surgeon will assess the level of risk of removal, your level of anxiety, and then decide if removal is indicated and, if so, the best technique to do so for your safety and comfort.
Implantology
Dental implants
Dental implants are an advanced solution to replacing one or more missing teeth without changing the structure of the adjacent teeth. It also stimulates the bone in which it is implanted.
Gum graft
To give an implant a symmetrical and esthetic appearance, the surgeon may need to perform a gum graft procedure to increase the amount of gum covering the implant.
