Orthodontics
For a dazzling smile!
What is orthodontics?
Orthodontics is the dental specialty that corrects tooth and jaw alignment problems. Orthodontic treatment not only allows you to achieve a beautiful smile, but by correcting the way teeth fit together, it also facilitates chewing, speech, and maintains good oral health in general.
The impact of a beautiful smile is undeniable. Numerous studies have shown that a dazzling smile increases self-confidence and contributes to career advancement. Our smile can change the way others perceive us and improve our quality of life, regardless of our age.
Why an orthodontist?
An orthodontist is the only recognized specialist in orthodontics and the best qualified to assess and treat problems related to tooth and jaw alignment. In addition to their dental training, orthodontists complete two to three years of additional training in an accredited university specialty program. Orthodontists must then pass a series of exams to obtain their license. Don't trust just anyone to correct your smile. Demand the best. Trust an orthodontist.

Periodontics
Keep your teeth healthy
What is periodontics?
Periodontics is the dental specialty that treats the tissues that support teeth. Periodontal diseases are generally caused by bacterial or parasitic infections.
Diagnosed diseases include gingivitis, periodontitis, and gum recession. Periodontics also includes the replacement of missing teeth using bone grafting and implant surgery.
What is a periodontist?
A periodontist specializes in the detection and treatment of diseases affecting the gums and tooth-supporting tissues. In addition to being a dentist, a periodontist has completed three years of specialized university training, leading to a master's degree in periodontics. To qualify as a periodontist, a specialist must also pass the certification exam of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.

Implantology
The natural way to replace your teeth
What is implantology?
Implantology is the dental specialty that involves placing implants. This surgery replaces a missing or extracted tooth root. There are many types of dental implants on the market.
The use of dental implants is taught in all dental schools around the world. Our North Shore clinic is the ideal place when implant surgery is necessary.
What is a dental implant?
A dental implant is a titanium cylinder that replaces the root of a tooth, supporting a tooth, a group of teeth, or even a denture.
The biocompatibility of titanium allows bone to form directly in contact with the implant, ensuring sufficient stability to withstand chewing forces.
A healing period of several months is required following implant placement before the crown (tooth) is fabricated. The placement of the implant is usually carried out by a specialist, such as Drs. Jarjoura and Robitaille, while the fabrication of the tooth(s) is done by the dentist or a prosthodontist.
