October 16, 2024Dr Karim Jarjoura received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Université de Montréal in 1997. He subsequently continued his studies in the United States. He earned a Master’s degree in Periodontics from Columbia University in New York (2002). Subsequently, he earned a Certificate in Orthodontics from the same institution (2004). Dr. Jarjoura is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in both Periodontics and Orthodontics and has also earned the title of Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology (ABP), the highest certification of clinical competence awarded in each specialty. He is also a member of the American Association of Orthodontics (AAO) and the American Association of Periodontics (AAP).
Since his graduation, Dr Karim Jarjoura has combined the practice of periodontics and orthodontics in his private practice. The only dual specialist in orthodontics and periodontics in Quebec, practicing both specialties full-time, Dr. Jarjoura has unique expertise in treating problems requiring a multidisciplinary approach (impacted teeth, congenital absences, adult orthodontics, skeletal anchorage, etc.). Dr. Jarjoura is the author of several articles published in scientific publications. In order to keep his knowledge up to date, he participates each year in numerous continuing education conferences. Dr. Jarjoura is the former head of the orthodontics section at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal and a visiting professor of periodontics at Columbia University in New York. He regularly gives training seminars in Quebec.
