October 2, 2024A tissue graft is when a thin layer of tissue is removed from the roof of the mouth, or a tissue donor may be used. The tissue is grafted to the area where the gum has receded to reinforce and rebuild the attached gum, thereby stabilizing the area. The success rate of this procedure is excellent.
