Clareo renews its commitment to the UdeM Faculty of Dentistry
April 13, 2026
On Tuesday, April 21, 2026, the traditional awards and scholarships ceremony was held at Université Laval. It is a special occasion to celebrate the success of our student community in the presence of our valued donors. This evening highlights a crucial encounter: that of generosity and excellence. The major new feature this year is the awarding of scholarships to graduate students, thus underscoring the importance of their commitment and academic journey. In addition, five undergraduate students received new scholarships during the evening.
The Ceremony
The ceremony opened with an address by our Dean, Professor Marie Audette, who emphasized the commitment of our partners and the tangible impact of their support: “This gesture can make a real difference, and for this reason, we sincerely thank you for your involvement.”
She also highlighted the requirements of the dental medicine and specialty program, emphasizing the determination and perseverance of the students, residents, and interns: “An accomplishment of this magnitude deserves to be highlighted, and we wish you all the best for the future.”
Ms. Geneviève Desbiens, Assistant Director of Philanthropic Development and Partnerships at the Philanthropy and Alumni Relations Department, also spoke. Ms. Desbiens emphasized the essential role of philanthropy in academic journeys:
“Philanthropy allows passionate students to pursue their studies, deepen their knowledge, and develop skills that will make them accomplished future dentists, dedicated to the health of the population.”
She stressed that these scholarships demonstrate a great deal of confidence in the next generation. She warmly thanked all the partners and donors, without whom these awards would not be possible. Ms Desbiens also congratulated the recipients. She noted that this support recognizes their rigor, efforts, and perseverance: “It’s a message that says: ‘Pursue your ambitions, see your projects through to the end, we are behind you.’”
The Evening
The evening continued in a warm and convivial atmosphere. It was punctuated with touches of humor thanks to Dr. Nancy Mouradian. Dr. Mouradian presented the awards, highlighting the excellence, commitment, and perseverance of the recipients.
Congratulations to all the recipients!
