Walter Capital Partners invests in Clareo, leading Quebec dental network
July 6, 2021
An Outaouais dentist has taken it upon himself to reshape the dental clinic system in Quebec. He aims to make life easier for dentist-owners who have to manage a business in addition to practicing their profession.
Alain Thivierge has been practicing dentistry since 1983. Based in Wakefield, in the Outaouais region, Dr. Thivierge has always had a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Feeling the urgent need to reshape the dental clinic system in Quebec, Dr. Thivierge began working in 2011 on creating a network that would allow for a review of the business model of Quebec clinics.
According to Dr. Thivierge, this new approach based on business succession could allow some dentists to focus on practicing their profession by leaving business management to the network. “Dentists are excellent healthcare professionals, but not all of them are excellent managers,” he says. This allows dentists and hygienists to practice their chosen profession without the administrative stress.
The financial burden is removed, and they can enter the office with peace of mind. Read the full article “Establishing a Dental Network One Clinic at a Time” on Le Droit, by Jean-Simon Milette.
