Clareo Dental Network supports the U.Laval Faculty of Dentistry

The U.Laval Faculty of Dentistry (FMD) was pleased to welcome Dr. Alain Thivierge, founder of the Clareo Dental Network, on Monday, April 7, for a recognition dinner held in honor of the network.

During this gathering, the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Petros Papagerakis, warmly thanked Clareo for its generous donation of $100,000. This philanthropic support will directly contribute to the development of our student community. It will support promising faculty projects as well as scholarship students. This enables them to pursue their academic journey with greater peace of mind.

This contribution will also support the Faculty’s research mission. It is an essential pillar for advancing knowledge and continuously improving the care provided to the population.

The event took place in a friendly atmosphere, conducive to meaningful discussions. Speeches by Dr. Thivierge and Dr. Papagerakis highlighted the importance of a concrete commitment to the next generation of dentists.

The Dean emphasized that this donation marks the beginning of a promising collaboration with Clareo. He also outlined the major directions ahead, including a significant expansion project by 2029 and the development of new technologies in dentistry: “This generous gesture allows us not only to support our students, but also to offer development opportunities for our Faculty, so that we can continue to be at the forefront of innovation in the dental field.”
